Camp Tiponi
Camp Tiponi is located near Chattanooga in Tennessee valley region.
The year-round camp programs are provided for children afflicted with cancer, their siblings, and parents at a facility in their own community. Health care professionals and social workers are on staff to provide support and training. Retreats are organized to center around respite, counseling, mutual support and positive activities, free of change. For hospitalized children with serious illnesses, the Camp Hospital Outreach program takes “Camp-on-the-go” programs to area hospitals and clinics. “Camp-on-the-go” provides a bedside experience to raise the spirits and help sustain youngsters for the road ahead.
The Camp operates solely on the donations of wonderful corporations, organizations and individuals. Children and families that attend would not otherwise be able to attend a camp because of their medical and financial issues.
Serving Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Families receiving suuport and services from the Austin Hatcher Foundation are not billed for their services
