HOW THE BLIND TASTING AND CONTEST WORKS…
One person = 3 bottles of the SAME red wine = one team
Two people = 3 bottles of the SAME red wine = one team
Each team (made up of 1 or 2 people) bring 3 bottles of the same red wine. The first 2 bottles will be covered and numbered for the tasting. The 3rd bottle will go into the “cellar”. The cellar, already stocked with $500 of wine donated by Athens Distributing Company, will grow as each team adds their thrid bottle. Partcipants will enjoy the wines and hors d’oeuvres and then vote for their favorite wine. At the end of the night, the team whose wine wins the popular vote will go home with the entire cellar of wine.
