How Does Sock It For Kids With Cancer Work?

Marketing & Information Materials

  • Information handouts will be provided by AHF to be sent home with students

  • Social media post templates will be provided for use on school or PTA social media

  • AHF will provide all information to the school for internal explanation of the program

  • If desired, an AHF staff member can provide a brief presentation to students to educate them on the effects of pediatric cancer and why AHF services are so vital for these families

Student Collection Information

  • Students will collect change in a sock for one week (or month) of your school's choice

  • Each school will be provided with buckets to collect change

  • Teachers and staff are also encouraged to participate!

  • We understand each school is different, and we are happy to work with you if you have another idea for collection that works better for your school

Final Collection Information

  • At the end of the week or month, an AHF staff member will come to the school to collect the buckets and change

  • Once all change is counted, AHF will inform your school how much was raised
