CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Feb. 26, 2018) – The annual ‘CELLARbration’ wine tasting fundraising event for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, is set for March 1 at the Feed Co. Table & Tavern in Chattanooga.

The CELLARbration will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $40 and only 100 will be sold for this unique event that turns a night of wine tasting into a competition, with the added benefit of helping the Chattanooga-based foundation and its mission to erase the effects of pediatric cancer on young patients and their family members.

In addition to the FEED Co. Table & Tavern (201 W. Main St.) as presenter and host, event sponsors include local businesses the Chili Pepper Ranch, Athens Distributing Company Chattanooga, Brewer Media, CityScope Magazine and HealthScope Magazine.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Feb. 13, 2018) – Six new members have joined the board of directors at the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, the foundation announced today.

The foundation’s board consists of 19 members. Those new members:

  • Anna Adamson, Director of Northwest Georgia for Junior Achievement;

  • Amy Frederick, director of  SICU & Orthopedic-Spine Floor at Tennova Health Care in Cleveland, Tennessee;

  • Jensen Sessums, management consultant and owner of Camshaw Consulting, LLC in Nashville;

  • Paul Stagmaier, director of pricing /sales analysts at Covenant Transport in Chattanooga;

  • Jenny Stickley, CEO of BAGSY, LLC in Chattanooga, managing partner at WALDEN, LLC in Chattanooga and current board member at the Walter E. Boehm Birth   Defects Center in Chattanooga;

  • Adam Thomas, senior vice president at Pinnacle Financial Partners in Chattanooga;

  • Former Graduate Professor at Southern Adventist University to Start Feb. 5

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Feb. 6, 2018) –  Matt McUmber of Rock Spring, Georgia, has joined the staff of the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

McUmber, who will start on Feb. 5, comes to the foundation from Highland Rivers Health in Dalton, Georgia where he served as Lead Therapist/Clinical Lead. Previously, McUmber was an adjunct graduate professor at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. 

McUmber graduated from Springfield (Massachusetts) College with a bachelor’s degree in Science Human Services. He earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Adventist in 2013.

At Highland Rivers Health, McUmber oversaw therapy programs for young children, adolescents, adults and groups. Areas of responsibility also included clinical and ethical oversight, clinical leadership and supervision and program development.
