Auctions to Benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation Set for Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
Auctions to be held amid Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio Weekend
Foundation bringing Diversionary Therapy program to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 1, 2018) – This week’s theme is maximum visibility at Mid-Ohio for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, with a variety of activities integral to the Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
The storied and scenic Mid-Ohio circuit is the fourth stop on the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship schedule, offering a unique setting for several fundraising auctions that will benefit the foundation, an official “Proud Charity of IMSA (International Motor Sports Association).

Auction Facilitates Expanded Awareness of Foundation’s Battle Against Pediatric Cancer
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 12, 2018) – Serving as an official “Proud Charity” for the International Motorsports Association (IMSA) will afford a special benefit this weekend for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, with visibility at the famed Long Beach, California street circuit.
The Austin Hatcher Foundation will partner with the Cadillac Corral for a fundraising auction at noon on Saturday, amid the BUBBA burger Sports Car Grand Prix, the third race of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. As part of the activities, well-known motorsports-themed artist Bill Patterson will produce a “live” painting to be auctioned. Patterson, known as a “motionsports” artist, is the official artist for WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. Event Returning to Stratton Hall in Downtown Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 9, 2018) – The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer’s long-running signature fundraising event, the 10th Annual “Celebration of Life & Hope,” has been rescheduled for the evening of Saturday, Oct. 27 at Stratton Hall in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The event, originally scheduled for Sept. 8, is being co-chaired this year by Mike and Maggie McCallie of Chattanooga, two long-time supporters of the Austin Hatcher Foundation. Mike McCallie is a partner at Max Trans Logistics, while Maggie McCallie has served on the Celebration of Life and Hope committee for several years.
The Celebration of Life & Hope annually serves to showcase the foundation’s efforts to fight pediatric cancer both in the Chattanooga area and nationwide.
