Foundation Honors Longtime Supporters Through Two Annual Awards
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Jan. 23, 2020) – Veteran race car driver Ryan Briscoe was named the recipient of the fourth annual Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Humanitarian Award on Thursday at Daytona International Speedway. The award, presented by Austin Hatcher Foundation President Amy Jo Osborn, honors individuals for their efforts in helping the foundation provide essential services to young cancer patients and their families.
Briscoe’s efforts throughout 2019, when he was a driver for Chip Ganassi Racing, supported the Austin Hatcher Foundation’s official status as a “Proud Charity” of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). Those efforts included participation in the foundation’s acclaimed Diversionary Therapy program, which includes visits to children’s hospitals.

Vehicle sold for $140,000 and raised an additional $30,000 in personal donations
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Jan. 22, 2020) – The renowned Leake Auction at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona came to a notable close this past weekend as a 2020 IASO Jeep Gladiator Rubicon was sold for a remarkable $140,000. Following the auction, an additional $30,000 was raised through personal donations from the Mauzy family and Gary and Muffy Bennett. The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer worked with childhood cancer patients and their families to assemble and modify this vehicle through their Industrial Arts Therapy program.

Foundation Rallied After Loss to Build Gladiator, With Aid From Patients’ Families, Longtime Partners
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Jan. 15, 2020) – The resiliency of the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer will be on display Saturday during the renowned Leake Auction at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As part of its array of innovative fundraising initiatives, the foundation is bringing a 2020 Jeep Gladiator IASO to be auctioned. The namesake and color scheme is linked to IASO, the Greek Goddess of Remedies and Modes of Healing.

The stunning IASO is actually a replacement, resulting from an 11th-hour project made possible by the Austin Hatcher Foundation, foundation partners, and family members of young cancer patients who benefit from the foundation’s services.
