Evening will offer socially distanced tables and tours of Education Advancement Center
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (September 22, 2020) – Two weeks before its 13th annual “Celebration of Life and Hope” virtual event on Saturday, Oct. 10, the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer will also host an in-person Pre-Party with limited admittance on Sept. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The evening’s events include a socially distanced cocktail party and special guided tours of the foundation’s new Education Advancement Center located at 1705 S. Holtzclaw Ave. Austin Hope wine, Five Wits beer, and hors d’oeuvres from Chili Pepper Ranch and Swiss Am Catering will be provided. The evening will conclude with presentations from co-founders Dr. Jim Osborn and Amy Jo Osborn and the 2020 Celebration of Life & Hope co-chairs Mike and Traci Otterman, whose daughter Simone is this year’s honoree.

● Alexandria Hickman joins the foundation’s growing team
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (September 17, 2020) –
Alexandria Hickman has joined the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer as the organization’s new Accountant.
Hickman is a 2011 graduate of The University of Tennessee at Knoxville and has a demonstrated history working in accounting roles. She has worked in accounting in a variety of industries and says she feels, through this work, she has built a firm foundation in the accounting world. At the Austin Hatcher Foundation, she is responsible for overseeing accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems. She also processes payroll, prepares an annual budget and information for an annual audit, ensures that the foundation is complying with tax-filing requirements, and maintains the donor software system.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (September 1, 2020) – The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer will be opening a new office in Dalton, Georgia with a grand opening celebration on September 9, 2020, at 10 a.m. EST at 1300 North Thornton Ave. Suite #2.
The Austin Hatcher Foundation offers free services to families faced with pediatric cancer, and the addition of this new office in Dalton will allow the foundation to reach and serve more families in the surrounding areas. The Dalton office will offer mental health counseling, occupational therapy, neuropsychological testing, and art-based therapy.
In June, the foundation opened its newest 33,000 square-foot Education Advancement Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. to expand the services offered to families faced with childhood cancer. The new Dalton location is a phase-one office location, providing the foundation with a space to grow and have a larger North Georgia footprint in the future.
