CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Aug 5, 2022) – The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer proudly returns this weekend to the famed Road America racing circuit in Plymouth, Wisconsin, as an official “Proud Charity” of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA).

The foundation will have one silent auction tent set up next to the IMSA Official Merchandising tent over the course of the weekend, which is highlighted by Sunday’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event.

The silent auction hosted by the foundation is an addition to the action-packed weekend of activities at Road America. Auction items available include artwork, memorabilia, used sports car parts and autographed racing gear. Items are currently up for bid, and more will be added on a regular basis. To make a donation, or for more information on the items and the silent auction, visit https://one.bidpal.net/roadamerica2022/.

The Foundation also constantly accepts any “unused assets,” such as broken car parts, bent wheels, racing gear and team memorabilia constantly. To donate assets, contact foundation motorsports coordinator Loran Hygema at loran@hatcherfoundation.org.

“We love traveling to spread the word of our mission at these leading IMSA events, and are excited to be at one of the nation’s premier auto racing facilities this weekend,” said the foundation’s president and CEO, Amy Jo Osborn. “We are so thankful to showcase the foundation as a proud charity of IMSA with our silent auction amid the backdrop of competition at scenic Road America. With thousands of passionate race fans in attendance, we are able to use the weekend to showcase our passion which is also our mission: erasing the effects of pediatric cancer for entire families.”

The Austin Hatcher Foundation’s mission is to erase the effects of pediatric cancer and optimize quality of life through essential specialized intervention beginning at the time of a child’s diagnosis and continuing through survivorship. Families of the foundation are provided with services such as Mental and Behavioral Health Therapy, Occupational Therapy, NeuroPsych Testing, Family Programs and more at absolutely no cost to them.
