CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 27, 2020) – The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer has added Chastity Chartier as the foundation’s new Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Chartier received her B.A. in Psychology at Roanoke College, followed by her M.S. and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. Chartier has practiced psychology for over 10 years. Prior to joining the foundation, she was a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Saratoga Center for the Family in Saratoga Springs, New York.

In 2017, Chartier founded her own private practice, Chastity Chartier PsyD, in Glens Falls, New York. There, she specialized in the evaluation of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Chartier will work closely with the families the foundation serves and conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to provide therapy services and treatments as needed to the patient and family members. She will be based at the foundation’s Education Advancement Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. She will also see patients in Dalton, Ga. and Knoxville, Tenn., where the foundation offers on-site therapy and testing.

“Even through COVID-19, we are so fortunate to be able to continue offering the free services we provide to our families, and Chastity will be leading our no-cost services including neuro-cognitive testing, individualized education plans, the driving simulator research study, and much more,” said Austin Hatcher Foundation President, Amy Jo Osborn. “Chastity’s talent and immeasurable passion for her work is exactly what we are looking for as we move forward in expanding our foundation.”
