· Month-long giveback helps Austin Hatcher Foundation provide services to families faced with pediatric cancer
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 26, 2023) – Big Bad Breakfast is coming to Chattanooga to make an impact in both the breakfast world and in the lives of families facing childhood cancer. The renowned breakfast eatery is opening its 17th location in August, with a soft opening this Saturday, July 29, from 9 – 1 p.m. Big Bad Breakfast (BBB) will not only be bringing Chattanooga custom-created meats, fresh biscuits and specialty cocktails, but also will be opening the restaurant with a giveback to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer (AHF).
Fitting with their tagline, “Something Big is Brewing,” BBB is opening their restaurant with a month-long giveback for the Austin Hatcher Foundation, a Chattanooga-based nonprofit that supports families and children facing childhood cancer. The giveback will kick off with BBB's soft opening in Northshore on Saturday, July 29, and continue throughout the month of August.
A portion of the proceeds from every purchase of the “Cathead” Chicken Biscuit and Fresh-squeezed Mimosas will be donated to the Austin Hatcher Foundation during this giveback event. Additionally, BBB will provide customers with the opportunity to donate with a QR code on their receipt, conveniently located table displays, or by using a provided TipTap donation device to contribute to the AHF mission.
AHF is dedicated to providing comprehensive coordinated care and unique solutions to families throughout their journey and recovery from childhood cancer. Their services encompass a wide range of support, including grief counseling, occupational therapy, family counseling, sibling tutoring, trauma therapy, and much more. With a focus on empowering families to cope in the present and thrive in the future, AHF ensures that every child and their loved ones receive the care they need.
One thing that sets AHF apart is the fact that they provide all their services at absolutely no cost to the families they support. This is all due to the generosity of sponsors, supporters, donors, and fundraising events like the BBB giveback.
"We are incredibly grateful to Big Bad Breakfast for their partnership and support," said Georgia Moore, AHF Events and Community Relations Manager. "With their help and the generosity of their customers, AHF can continue to provide much-needed services to families who are navigating the difficult journey of pediatric cancer. Every donation received during this giveback event will help us make a lasting impact on the lives of these brave children and their families. We hope you join us at BBB this Saturday and throughout the month of August!"
