This weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway marks the start of the 2022 season for the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and the continuation of their partnership with the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

The Austin Hatcher Foundation was the proud charity of the American Le Mans Series for five years before becoming one of two proud charities of IMSA. Throughout this twelve-year partnership, IMSA has impacted the foundation by assisting in the generation of $3, 317,000.

This weekend will kick off with a press conference with President and CEO, Amy Jo Osborn, presenting IMSA with the 2021 Impact Award and IMSA Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing, Rebecca Rawski, with the 2021 Humanitarian Award for her unwavering commitment to supporting the foundation in all fundraising and marketing efforts.

“It is an incredible honor to be chosen by the Austin Hatcher Foundation to receive their prestigious Humanitarian Award. I admire the foundation’s work and the multi-dimensional support and services they offer children and families impacted by pediatric cancer,” said Rebecca Rawski. “I am grateful our sport and community are able to play a role in the betterment of the lives of children with cancer and look forward to continuing to support and participate in the efforts of the foundation.”

On Saturday, January 29, Renowned Motion Artist Bill Patterson will begin creating a one-of-a-kind piece in the PorschePlatz at 9:00 a.m. The painting will be auctioned shortly after completion at 12:00 p.m. Patterson will then create a live piece in the Daytona International Speedway Rolex Lounge at 6:00 p.m. This piece will be auctioned beginning at 7:00 p.m.
