The Austin Hatcher Foundation to Visit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with IMSA's Bryan Sellers

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2021) – The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer will be visiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

This visit is part of the foundation’s Diversionary Therapy division. Diversionary Therapy provides families faced with pediatric cancer with specialized activities that promote the involvement of leisure, recreation, and play by reducing barriers. This visit to CHOA will include Austin Hatcher Foundation staff and volunteers bringing a derby track and other small race-themed activities for patients to play with ahead of the weekend’s Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta Motul Petit Le Mans.

This visit will also be attended by Paul Miller Racing’s Bryan Sellers. Sellers is a long-time advocate for the foundation and will be assisting in the Diversionary Therapy provided at CHOA.

“We are thrilled to be returning to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!” said foundation President Amy Jo Osborn. “We have truly missed the bonds that are built with patients, their families, and our IMSA family during these hospital visits. We are so grateful to start back up this tradition before we head to the 2021 Motul Petit Le Mans!”

The Austin Hatcher Foundation is a proud charity of IMSA. Because of this partnership, IMSA drivers and teams are committed to joining the foundation’s efforts to fundraise and provide care for families faced with pediatric cancer. The foundation will also be present at the 2021 Motul Petit Le Mans from November 11 – 13, 2021.
