(Nov. 10, 2021) – The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer will travel to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta from November 11 – 13, 2021 to attend the 2021 Motul Petit Le Mans.  This year marks the 15th consecutive year for the Austin Hatcher Foundation to participate in the partnership with IMSA and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Children and families from 4 different states will travel to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for a “trackside” experience at the races. Over 150 individual childhood cancer patients and family members will be living the racing fans dream in the trackside hospitality chalet on the front stretch.  Families will partake in Derby Car racing, Open Grid / Fan Walk presented by Hagerty, front row seating to the beginning of the 2021 Motul Petit Le Mans, lunch and much more!

The Austin Hatcher Foundation also has a week packed full of fundraising through a fan activation Silent Auction in Vendor Row and 5 Live Paintings in manufacturer corrals.  All funds raised support the cutting- edge services provided to families faced with pediatric cancer at the foundation’s headquarters in Chattanooga, Tenn.

On Friday, November 12, 2021, the foundation will open its silent auction tent at 9:00 a.m. The silent auction will include items such as race-used parts, racing memorabilia, driver-signed artwork, and more. Those interested in purchasing these one-of-a-kind items from the silent auction should visit https://www.hatcherfoundation.org/roadatlanta. The silent auction will close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

The foundation’s silent auction is available to anyone. Those unable to attend the Motul Petit Le Mans in-person may also bid online to win items from the iconic event. All items will be shipped to winners at the buyer’s expense.

The foundation will have Motorsports Artist Roger Warrick participating in live auctions throughout the weekend. On Friday, November 12, Warrick will begin his live painting in the Corvette Corral at 10:00 a.m., and the piece will be auctioned at 2:30 p.m. Warrick will begin a second live painting on Saturday, November 13, at 10:00 a.m. in the BMW Corral. This piece will then be up for auction at 3:00 p.m.

The foundation will also have renowned Motion Artist Bill Patterson participating in live auctions during the weekend. Patterson will begin his first live painting at 9:30 a.m. on November 13 in the Porscheplatz, and the live auction will begin on the piece at 11:00 a.m. Patterson will also create a piece throughout the weekend for a live auction at the Podium Club in the Michelin Tower at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 13.

The foundation will finish the fundraising weekend with a Bill Patterson live painting beginning at 4:30 p.m. on November 13 in the Cadillac Corral. This piece will then be up for auction at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 13.

Proceeds from each live auction and the silent auction directly impact the lives of children faced with pediatric cancer. All services provided at the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer are provided by a licensed clinical staff and are 100% free to the families.
