Materials:
Wooden Hexagons, watercolor paint and brushes, canvas painted black and rubber cement

What is a hexagon? How can colors be blended to make new colors?

Simple Science:
- Primary colors can be mixed to make secondary colors
- Figure with six straight sides and angles.
This activity would be appropriate completed by the following disciplines:

Instructions:
Paint hexagons using watercolor paint, blending colors. Encourage students to paint abstractly. When hexagons have dried, cement them to the canvas, leaving a ¼ inch space between each hexagon.
